Our whole house water filter utilizes food-grade polypropylene and coconut shell granular active carbon (GAC) with a high iodine value (over 1000). It is lead and BPA-free, non-toxic, odorless, and does not leach or cause secondary pollution, providing a healthy and safe water-filtering experience.
The SimPure whole house sediment and activated carbon water filters combine two filtration functions. The PP melt-blown effectively performs primary filtration of raw water, removing sediment, rust, impurities, colloids, and suspended solids. The granular active carbon effectively adsorbs residual chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, water-soluble heavy metals, and heterochromatic odors, offering you clean and refreshing water.
These filters are universal replacements for all 10" x 4-1/2" whole house water filter housing models of GXWH35F / GXWH40L / GXWH30C / GXWH47J / GNWH38S, HB18B / WGB21B, W15-PR / W10-PR, AP801T / AP801B / AP801 / AP801-C, and SimPure DB10. They can also replace 10" x 4.5" whole house water filter cartridge models of FXHSC / FXHTC, FP15B / FC15B, WRC25HD / WDGD-5005, AP810 / AP811 / AP814 / AP817, SDC-45-1005, ECP5-BB / 255490-43, RFC-BBSA / R50-BBSA / CP5-BBS, FI-CAB10-BB / FI-SED10-BB, and BB10BB.
The service life of these filters is 6 months, or if operating as a single inline whole house water filter, the capacity can be up to 30,000 gallons or 3-6 months, depending on your water quality. It is essential to flush the new inline filter with at least 5 gallons of water before putting it into operation.
